Peacock Coffee is probably one of the hippest coffee shops far before coffee shops in Semarang become popular. Located in Gajahmada, one of the most strategist locations in the city, Peacock Coffee has its own appeal—to be honest this coffee shop is quite unique. From the outside, this coffee shop doesn’t look quite spacious. However, your eyes can trick you. In fact, this two-story building can hold quite a lot of people in it. If you are a non-smoker, the first floor is for you. There is one large table which can be used as a shared table. Behind the stairs, the tables are made for 1 to 2 persons. Hi! A little disclaimer: I am not a coffee expert , but I enjoy drinking it. I usually go to a coffee shop to find a little peace or simply to get away from my mundane routine. There is always something interesting about sitting in a corner of a coffee shop-- somehow, I find myself being more productive. I think, aside the fact that coffee provides you with caffeine that will help you to be more aware, drinking coffee can also make you feel happier!  I had never thought that I will love drinking coffee-- alone or with accompany. I used to hate drinking coffee because I didn't find the fun in doing it, but now, I realize something. I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee, the people who are busy with their work in a coffee shop, and the latte art. It's pretty weird, huh? Personally, I always go for the same type of coffee.
